An MP4 plays the conversation over time. Use it when a pause before a reply or a final reveal matters. Preview is interactive playback; you still need to run the separate MP4 export and inspect the downloaded video.
Check the complete timeline
Preview the story from its beginning through the last reply. Give viewers time to read each message. Check the full video duration, including pauses and other timeline content: the Guest and Free maximum is 90 seconds inclusive, not 90 seconds of dialogue plus extra pauses.
- Edit a supported Telegram iPhone or WhatsApp Android text story.
- Preview the opening, each reply and the ending. Shorten unnecessary waits if the duration exceeds 90 seconds.
- Confirm that all text and the final message are readable in the chosen output format.
Choose a manageable video workload
In Video export, select the output preset, output scale and Video FPS. Available FPS choices are 24, 30 and 60, subject to export checks. More pixels, frames and duration increase browser work. Review Video workload, which shows dimensions, duration, FPS and frame count; its estimated processing size is not the final download size.
- Begin with 1× scale and 24 or 30 FPS for a short trial.
- If the workload is heavy, read the notice and confirm only if you want to continue. Keep the tab open.
- Select Export MP4 after checks finish. Wait through preparation, capture, encoding and download.
Check the file and recover from errors
Open the downloaded MP4 and watch it through. Check the first and last frames, message order, readability and Free watermark. Creating a draft or pressing Preview does not produce this file. Check browser downloads if no file appears after completion.
For a duration block, shorten the timeline rather than lowering FPS: fewer frames per second do not shorten the story. For a workload block, reduce duration, FPS, scale or output size as the notice suggests. If export fails, read the error and use Re-export video after correcting it. Cancel MP4 export stops an active attempt; wait for it to settle before retrying. Browser encoding support and available memory vary, so no universal device or operating-system compatibility is promised.
Availability and storage
These instructions describe the Free mode, where supported PNG and MP4 files are rendered on your device with a Textelling watermark. You can start as a guest; a Free account does not require a paid subscription. Guest and Free video duration is limited to 90 seconds. Paid purchases, voiceover, MultiChat and server rendering are unavailable here.
A local draft stays in this browser profile and this site's storage. Reopening its editor URL in another browser or on another device does not transfer the draft. Clearing site data can remove it. An editor URL is not a public share link. Downloaded media and the editable project are separate: keep the downloaded file before clearing browser data. In the editor’s Project file tab, use Download file to keep a .textelling.json editable backup. Choose file or Paste project JSON validates a backup before you confirm replacement; export your current project first. Offline files do not embed personal images, so keep the original images separately.
