Use PNG when you want one still image of a simulated conversation: a punchline, an invitation or a scene for a presentation. Write the conversation first, then check that the exported composition makes sense without playback.
Prepare a readable frame
Start with a short supported text conversation. Replace the demonstration names and messages, select the speaker for each reply, then preview the complete exchange. PNG is a still composition, not animated playback; do not assume that seeking preview selects the exported frame.
- Open the Telegram iPhone demo or the WhatsApp Android demo.
- Edit the names and messages. Check long lines, accents and emoji in preview.
- Keep the exchange short enough for the intended image and verify its actual exported content.
Set the image output and download
In Image export, choose the output preset and PNG scale. The scale controls raster resolution; it does not add more conversation content. Start at 1× for a small trial, then use 2× if you need more pixels and the device can handle it. Output presets can change the crop, so inspect the result rather than assuming every message fits.
- Wait for any Checking export… state to finish and resolve displayed asset or permission warnings.
- Select Export PNG and wait for PNG exported and the browser download.
- Open the downloaded PNG. Check framing, text, speaker names and the watermark before using it.
If the image is missing or clipped
A saved draft is not proof that a PNG was downloaded. Check the browser's downloads and its download permissions. If the button is disabled, read the export warning first: media readiness, authorization and export routing must finish before capture. Do not repeatedly click while an export is running.
For clipped text, choose a suitable output format or shorten the exchange and capture again. For a device resource error, try 1× and a smaller output. Successful exports on a representative setup do not establish support for every browser, operating system or platform renderer.
Availability and storage
These instructions describe the Free mode, where supported PNG and MP4 files are rendered on your device with a Textelling watermark. You can start as a guest; a Free account does not require a paid subscription. Guest and Free video duration is limited to 90 seconds. Paid purchases, voiceover, MultiChat and server rendering are unavailable here.
A local draft stays in this browser profile and this site's storage. Reopening its editor URL in another browser or on another device does not transfer the draft. Clearing site data can remove it. An editor URL is not a public share link. Downloaded media and the editable project are separate: keep the downloaded file before clearing browser data. In the editor’s Project file tab, use Download file to keep a .textelling.json editable backup. Choose file or Paste project JSON validates a backup before you confirm replacement; export your current project first. Offline files do not embed personal images, so keep the original images separately.
